I thought I posted this but now can't find it, anyway...
I have heard that you should use nutrients when you re-hydrate dry yeast. I wanted to ask the pros here if they feel you should or not. If so what nutrient do you suggest.
Thanks in advance,

I generally don't, rehydrating in water instead of sprinkling on wort, the idea is to let them take in water without having to fight with the balance of other osmotic and chemical gradient stresses. The additional stress from adding nutrients likely doesn't add too much to this, and there may be a product out there designed for use in rehydration/nutrition, but I don't use it when I use dry yeast.

Same here, but I do routinely add yeast nutrient to the boil at the same time that I add whirlfloc and stick in my immersion chiller.

I'd stick with the advice fromethe veterans.. but for me, I add 1/2 tsp Wyeast Beer nurtient with 10 minutes left in the boil regardless of the yeast (5.5 gallon batches).

To clarify, if I'm adding nutrient, it goes in the boil, not in my rehydration water.

Thanks Spider. One thing I didn't understand...you do re-hydrate in water or do you just sprinkle it onto the wort?

I rehydrate in plain sterile water, then pitch that into my wort.
