Top Crop Yorkshire Ale Yeast sludge

I have been brewing 3 different baches using the same yeast. Wyeast 1469-PC West Yorkshire Ale Yeast.
I harvested yeast from each batch via a blowoff tube into a fresh flask of wort. I noticed as I was making the fourth batch that there were thick white doughy bits floating on the top of the blowoff wort. It looks like what you would expect to be on the bottom.
Is this just active yeast or something else?
I have been very careful with my sanitation throughout the process.

Thanks!
