Homebrewing beer. A special two episode show. In this show Jamil and Jon cover brewing and enjoying both Kolsch and Dusseldorf Altbier. These two German ales are uniquely different and come from two towns in Germany just a stone's throw from each other. Reader email and Jamil's brewing fantasies.

Kolsch and Alt Beer program by john gonzales, February 11, 2013
Thanks for considering a show dedicated to Alt and Kolsch beers. They are different but the proximity is quite close region-wise. The water however seems to be other aspect that they share. Alt is one of my favorite styles of German Beer. Yet there is very little imported to Texas and very few (if any) Domestic breweries seem to have a true grasp of what an actual German Dusseldorfer Alt really tastes like. You timing could not have been more better as we are brewing both an Alt as well as a Kolsche...Nice Cheers : )
