Thank You by Shawn Munson, February 23, 2009
Approx. 2 weeks ago I stopped into Vermont Pub and Brewery in Burlington, VT and had the opportunity to meet Greg Noonan. It was a pleasure to talk with Greg and sample his fine brews at the pub. While there, a brewer by the name of J.D. stopped and talked with me for a good half hour. Much of the discussion was on the topic of yeast starters. J.D. told me about your website. I wish I had visited long ago. The web casts are incredible. I download topics and listen while on the road through the New England states.

Thank you for your show on yeast starters. I brewed a batch of Porter this weekend where I pitched a starter that I whipped up 24 hours prior. I pitched at 6:30 Saturday evening. When I woke up Sunday, the batch was in full activity. The shortest lag time I've ever had.
