In this episode of Can You Brew It the crew attempts to homebrew Eagle Rock Revolution XPA. This lighter version of an American Pale Als is bright and refreshing, with a strong hop presence. At 5.2% ABV and 37 IBU's, this golden beer is delicate, but not thin or watery. It's truly a great example of a hop friendly craft beer that's not overbearing. Tune in and see if the crew was able to clone it!

The 60 min addition will contribute 30 IBU. Adjust amount accordingly. There is also a decent amount of IBUs added during the 0 minutes addition do to the 20 min whirlpool/ steep.

I am doing my ex pale ale in a 15.5 gal keg for primary. It has been in 14 days so far at 68*. I have read that it is good to keep in the primary for up to 4 weeks, for clarity and yeast cleanup. Do I still cold crash after that for the normal 3 days, before kegging.

extract recipe for revolution xpaby mk, February 21, 2013
I didn't catch the extract recipe when I listened to this show...seems like done spec grains would be necessary to capture the flavor profile that the brewery is getting from that unique base malt. Thanks for your help...love the show!
