Louisiana craft beer at its best!

This week on the Session we welcome Abita Brewing Company Brewmaster, Mark Wilson. Abita has seen tough times in the southern U.S. after Katrina and the recent gulf oil spill. The whole way they have remained community minded and brewed with a love of beer and their local communities. Tune in and learn about the wonderful beer of Abita, and how it has helped its region survive some very tough times.

We also get the scoop on the National Organic Brewing Challenge from 7 Bridges Cooperative. Listen for your name if you entered and see if you won!

I know it's a BN staple, but I couldn't believe you played, "When the Levee Breaks," at the first break when talking to the Abita guy.
That, and JP's shrimp beer finishing at 10...W40 were the highlights of the show. Thanks

Orval Clone by Sean O'Connor, November 04, 2010
Orval is not barrel aged. Primary fermentation with servomyces in stainless steel. Bottle conditioned with a brett blend. I'm glad you enjoyed the homebrew.
