Just ordered Hops Rhizomes

Thu Apr 10, 2008 12:47 am

Alright I ordered some Hops Rhizomes. Cascade, Centennial, and Williamette. Any suggetsions for planting? Never had a garden of my own I do extract brewing now awould like to do all grain so maybe after they produce in a year or two I will be ready. How to you dry them and store them. We don't get freezes here in Okinawa and the island is volcanic so the soil should be good I hope. I am really clueless so I guess I better get to studying.

Whhheeellll.....I'd put them in the earth and cover them with soil!

I'd check out this Yahoo Group....Grow-Hops

And reference these publications...Small Scale and Organic Hops Production & Hop Gardening from Freshops

Goodluck!
