I just made chili last night. I wish I would have had this recipe. Sounds great!

Sounds like Sloppy Joe with cumin and red pepper.

Beans, beans, the musical good for your heart. Fart. Toot. Aww, I forget.

Real chili has no beans.

Having said that, my mom cooks chili with beans, but we call it West Virginia Chili.

Between Code and the crazy Texan, I guess you guys are right. Chili does not have beans. However I'm not partial either way and after looking over this recipe again I'm not sure that 15 or 16 oz. of beans would lend much anyway. So I guess it would be worth a try to go bean-less! Let me know how it goes Code. I think I am going to make this soon too.

I should clairify and say I love my mom's chili with beans... and I enjoy beans.

However, as a Texan I am required by law to say that real chili has no beans.

Texan to English Translation
  • pin = pen
  • jeet = did you eat
  • meer = come here
  • whoop = beat up
  • sinus = sign this
  • overe = over there
  • done = has
  • coke = any flavor of soda
  • reckon = think
  • tin = ten
  • fixin' = planning

or if your Texan, just go to http://www.google.rednecktranslator.com to translate any page on the "innernet". Then go eat your beanless chilli without any pants on.
