I bought a case the other day and found the flavor very interesting. Smells and tastes like tobacco when you walk into a cigar shop. I mean that in a nice way -- maybe from the chocolate that was used? I find good old hershey's chocolate syrup to be the best way to put a chocolate flavor into a beer. Either that, or maybe creme dé cacáo added to taste? A fine brew that by any standard...also went well with the case of abyss I picked up at new season's -- so much fine beer, so little damn time!

Prost!

A very silly place... http://yarnzombie.net/Travis/

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

If the ommegang chocolate indulgence was a homebrew....i wouldn't judge it over 28.

aroma needs some serious work. flavor and palate have either too much going on, or whats is going on is not blended well.

I think that this beer is the worst beer ommegang has released so far....however, none of you have had their kriek yet.....get ready for some cherry Kool-aid when they release that mistake.

don't get me wrong, i like ommegang....i absolutely love their ommegeddon! I'm even going to go to their belgian beer festival again this year. I just think i may know why randy left the place.
suck it
