Leinenkugel's Apple Spice

Sun Nov 26, 2006 5:19 pm

Label says it is apple spice flavored beer with natural apple-cinnamon flavor.
It tastes like a BMC light lager with Instant Hot Apple Cider Mix added to it... I wouldn't suggest it.

Haven't seen it around here, yet. Probably won't try anywho.

I do have a soft spot for Leine's though, being it and Walters/Waltners (can't remember the spelling) were my first micros back when I was 15/16. I do drink the original on occasion still, love the Big Butt and Sunset Wheat, also like the Creamy Dark.

I think it used to be a fall seasonal that they are going to keep in production year round now. You definitely won't loose any sleep over not getting to try this one.

I've tried that one too. I didn't care for it though I do enjoy some of their other beers. I gave a couple sixes of the Big Butt to my brother (who does have a weight problem) last Christmas. His wife caught the joke immediately and really teased him about it. He ignored her (as usual) and really enjoyed the beer with my help.

agreement, this beer stinks. I'm also not a fan of their sunset wheat.
