I cant remember exactly when I bought them, but I am sure that they are less than 3 years old.


I haven't looked at them in years, but I can't imagine they're not stitching them anymore. I'm guessing you happened to get some that slipped by QC or something.

It's a good temporary fix anyhow. I was only half serious. If you don't leave it on the carboy in the fridge, it'll work for quite a while.

The funny thing about duct tape, there's one thing that it's not good for at all... ducts. The adhesive doesn't do well with repeated temp swings. In all honesty, I'd just stitch them up when you get a chance.

I never really thought about it too much before, but I hope you're right, Oz. I've never broken a carboy before either. It will be a mistake I certainly will never repeat. (At least the same way :lol: )
