I really don't think the government would do anything to you if you were caught with 250 gallons of homebrew in your fridge. If they caught you selling it from your house then the feds would come down hard on you.

Exactly! All the Feds care about is money. Brew as much as ya want, just don't sell a drop.

I usually on have about ~20 gallons in the fridge and another batch fermenting. The feds would have to stop by every day to take an inventory, and they don't have the money to do that.
