Yes Doc rules but don't you fucking dare sell yourself short! You are an unbelievable asset to the BN.

Thanks guys, that means a lot. When I'm out there talking to other brewers or traveling somewhere for beer I always try to bring back some interesting content for the BN Army. Cheers,

I just hd a fantastic idea, why not use the Enigma Code Machine to determine the days the show is on. That way we, the people that hold down a regular job, can forget about trying to schedule leave for the live show and chat.

The 99% can suck my big toe. Just sayin'

I take back what I said about better meltdowns on Sunday.

Two shows back, Monday, one of the best meltdowns of the year. Last show, Sunday, zero DOTW calls.

What that means is the BN Army is full of douches that have no regard for tomorrow, whether that is Monday or Tuesday.

My $.02 as a long-time supporter -

I love the show and I'll download every podcast produced. I'd prefer a Sunday show, but I'll take what I can get. I think it will mean a reduction in the number of live listeners.

Nate and Doc add a great deal to the show, and a schedule change that makes them unable to participate is a bad idea.

On the other hand, if going to Mondays prevents JP from showing up, all the better. JP can be very, very funny, but I can't take his negativity towards homebrewing, homebrewers, and homebrew. If you really hate it that much that you need to mention it several times a show, perhaps it's time for a "career" change. I don't understand the logic in insulting the majority of your listener base every week.

Another benefit to the Monday schedule is that the podcast has been available very early on Tuesday.

As a long time listener I really don't care what day it's on .
As for JPs negitivity on home brewed beer . He's right . If you enter competitions look at your Pre BN score sheets . How many are below 30? If your a judge how many suck ass flights of horrid IPAs have you had the pleasure to sit and comment on ?
If all our beers score in the 40 range every time then he would be wrong . The guy is honest . It does suck . And when I drink while I brew I myself end up with shit in a carboy and he will tell me it sucks .

Just keep in mind that when JP is talking about bad homebrew, he's not talking about yours (unless you just handed it to him)... he's obviously talking about someone elses...

Negativity or honesty. Sometimes the only way to become a better brewer is to make the mistakes that lead to wastewater, it's a learning process. I am my own worst critic as most, I think, are! Of course there are some who brew in denial, but they are always out there, and the only way to wake them up is for someone who can walk the talk to trash the product.
There is not only some horrid homebrew out there, there is some pretty heinous commercial brew as well.
If you, and your friend's like what you brew that is really what matters most. That said though, I think the best brews and brewers are always looking to improve...evolve.

I would rather have JP trash my beer, tell me what was wrong and where I can improve, then to just brush me off, with a passing gratuitous remark. No?
