I got mine today.. 2 rhizomes and 3 cuttings. My g/f is going to tend to the cuttings (she knows about this shit) and I'm gonna get the rhizomes in the ground this evening.
Three words to describe me: brew, blues and blood.

I've done months and months and months of time for a LOT less than contempt on a government form! and boy let me tell you.. the times one has in jail... the interesting and exotic folk one meets; such drivelous tales to be heard by all!!

so i haven't gotten past the first page here, so lemme read if anyone actually got some rhizomes.

should I wait till spring to try this? ie will they die if I plant them this late in the summer in Nebraska? Or could I hold onto the rhyzomes until spring and if so how do I care for them until spring comes?
thanks

It's so late in the season, I'd pot them this year, and bring inside when it freezes. If they have any growth, it'll probably die back, but keep them watered, and plant outside after your last spring frost. I did that last year with some cuttings, and they did pretty well.
They might survive planted in the ground this late, but I don't know.
Good luck!

Just placed my order. Hopefully they'll arrive after it starts warming up and I can start my experiment!

Thanks for the link!
