Making Jamil's Imperial Stout. I did a big no-no and got drunk while brewing. I messed up and added too much DME to make up for my sparge being off. This is going to be about a 12 % beer. Holy crap.

Double IPA with 10 oz of dry hops! Just finished my last batch and HAD to make more! Pretty rare when I feel that way about a beer!

I just got another year older and brewed a Dortmunder (BCS inspired recipe) on my birthday. Was the longest brew day ever, started strike water heating at 12.15pm and just finished draining the kettle at 10.10pm (and only for a 20 litre batch).

My numbers were all over the place but somehow ended up working out ok. Not as much post boil volume as I hoped for but I managed to get enough into the fermenter for a full batch.
