Rocking out a steam beer, overkill with a triple decotion mash. Shooting for a 1.053 OG after boil, but my pre boil gravity is about 1.061. OOOOOOOOOOOPS... good thing I have extra water ready.

11 gallons of a rich, malty, 1.084 OG weizenbock for fall. Was a bitch cooling it to 60 degrees though....

Water is filtered, and will be brewing the following tonight (2 systems/2 brewers): Berliner Weisse, Helles, and IPA. Looks like another late night of fun.

Brewed my first all grain batch today. And I sure learned a lot about my equipment, by doing a whole bunch wrong....

I guess I'll just have to practice, practice, practice... which means a lot of beer and that sure isn't a bad thing.

Widmer Brrr Clone. Had a bad day. Stuck Sparge in a new mash tun, and due to a poor filter bed setup, plugged counter flow heat exchanger from BK. Only got 61% today.

German Hefeweizen with a small amount of melanoiden malt to boost complexity. Tried a ferulic acid rest as well. Should be downing this one in a few weeks! :aaron
