Had a blast. Skipped too many sessions again, but you gotta sleep sometime. I didn't like the tiki lounge for some reason, so I didn't hang out in the hospitality room like last year.

Haha, hey Matt! So funny to see this thread. I met you the first day right outside your room before BNA6. Jeff and I were in the room right next door to you. You guys were fired up. After meeting you, I turned to Jeff and was like, "Matt looks like he's feeling pretty good already. I hope he paces himself... it's gonna be a long week." I think I only saw you once or twice after that; never heard you guys in your room. Guess you were out partying.

Anyway, it was nice meeting you. Hope to see you next year!

I briefly remember meeting Rhino and TampaBrewer. I met Ta2 & wife, Mylo, Blober and the (in my opinion) best looking...dancer(?) from BNA6 ground her ass on my junk.

I also made a, albeit drunken, attempt to talk to JP, and that's the last attempt I'll ever make to interact with that dude :) What a douche!

Oh, and Justin remembered me finally. Not as San Diego Matt, but as the guy who always talks about VW's with him.

Chris, If I met you, it's completely escaped my memory :jnj

I pretty much stayed on the same "pace" all weekend! I also heard I gave you guys the "Philly, you're #1 (aka the middle finger) salute" in the line for the buses to BNA6. Like everything else, I don't remember this so please accept my apology here. I was just trying to prepare for 2013 :D

I also can't believe you guys didn't hear us all weekend. We didn't sleep much and drank about six 12 packs on the balcony of our room.

NHC 2011 was absolutely great for my first NHC! I couldn't have asked for a better experience of random greatness. First of all, the BN crew was great and I had the opportunity to meet and talk with everyone at some point during the conference. Tasty and Doc were as great as you would expect. Justin was usually pretty busy, but still did take time to chill and relax ... his talk was absolutely the peak of entertaining presentations! BNA6 was a blast! Beevo was super nice and Sam was, surprisingly, not the douchbag that you might expect ... Congrats again on the belly bean! Nathan was just as truely excited about craft beer as you would expect. JZ the Heretic Pope was super down to earth and definately excited about getting his brewery up and running. Brewtat2, Kim, Wood, Code, and Rhino77 were just a few of the other BNers that I had a chance to meet over the conference. Other random highlights include being neighbors to the Blichmann dudes (super nice), the plethura of conversations with fellow brewers, after-hour drinking with the HopTech folks (stumbled into that party), hanging out with a couple of the 2012 NHC host club, meeting the LD Carlson Homebrew Wholesale guys and getting invited to their NHC banquet table (right up front), and of course having my club receive Club of the Year (First NHC, first time entering, got to 2nd round for a golden strong, and I couldn't be more proud of the BN or being a participant in that acheivement). Thanks JP for inviting the brewers to the stage!

Only regrets would be not making it back to the BN suite for the afterhour parties and not meeting more of the BN'ers while I was there. In reality, I helped Tasty transport his keg/co2 tank to the suite after club night, so not going back was purely my bad ... it was just too hard to move anywhere without getting drawn into another conversation and drinking more beer. In the end, I never made it back to my room until 3:30 each night and was up at 8:45 each morning ... not sure that I could have squeezed any more into the week.

In short, absolutely amazing! Get to NHC if you have never attended. You won't be dissapointed!
