Yeast for 2 batches

Tue May 03, 2011 1:51 pm

I'm wanting to use the same yeast for a hoppy pale ale and a hoppy red rye ale. Was thinking of using 1272 cause I like it so much, but was wondering if an English strain might be better. I don't have much experience with English yeast strains as to flavor. I'm open to any kind of yeast that would work well for both batches. Any thoughts?
