Either there are a lot of people lying about their professions on here, or there are a lot of you with some pretty impressive jobs. I have seen a lot of engineers, physicists, and a lot of people with PHDs. I have a PHD as well (Pretty Huge Dick )

I doubt there is any lying and I doubt the responses are representative. This thread, like any internet poll, suffers from self selected participation. If you bag groceries at the Piggly Wiggly, you are less likely to click the "tell me what you do" thread than the Nuclear Engineer.

When the NHC first round results come out some time in January when Dallas finishes (I kid, I kid) there will be threads about how you did and they people who got a beer through will be more likely to respond. Same thing.

John F. I agree, there is going to be participation bias, but I am just looking at how broad the spectrum is. Judging from what I have seen so far, I am not to worried about being overly technical. I will not be providing a margin of error or the confidence interval of said survey.
Could be that the engineers and the PHD's, are really grocery baggers or parking lot attendants, who knows.
