Mashing my "Darktober 2" right now. It is and Oatmeal Stout. Smells great!!

Nine gallons of oatmeal stout and 4.5 gallons of Patersbier are in the fermenters in the booze beast (my ancient montgomery ward upright freezer converted to be a fermentation chamber).

Time for lunch and a few beers.

Kegging 10 gallons of Blonde today, and brewing JZ's Vanilla Robust Porter tomorrow.

just mashed in on a oatmeal stout type thang, .5# of steel cut oats that I cooked on the stove prior to mash.

No actual brewing but doing some finish work on a couple. I'm cooking up a cranberry and sugar addition for a mead that I have stabilized. I will be kegging a cider (still deciding whether to spice it), and will be kegging and carbing an IPA.

I have a batch of rye cream ale fermenting right now using a scottish ale yeast this time. I will be using this yeast cake for a barleywine next week. I will be teaching meadmaking to a couple folks next week too.
