Lager a Cal Common?

Wed Oct 13, 2010 5:05 pm

I was planning on lagering the Cal Common i brewed today but when i checked back in BCS there's no mention of lagering by Jamil. Should i go with the lagering or bottle it at 2 or 3 weeks?

I personally lager mine for 4 weeks after sitting in promary for about 3. Its drinkable earlier, but much better if you are patient. Just my opinion though. I would be interested in what everyone else does as well.

According to my notes, the last California Common I did needed lagering at least three weeks.

Lager it if you have the patience/ability to. My last one seemed to peak at 4-6 weeks of lagering.
