They have WLP001 listed on the website, but I'm sure you could use WLP051 as well.

How would Bitter American compare to Stone's Levitation? After listening to CYBI, they sound pretty similar; ie, Session APA.

As basic as it is, I found the American Bitter to be a more complex layered beer. The American Bitter. is really a poundable beer where the Stone beer which is very good, is more bitter and does not have the smooth malty quality of the 21A.
That is my $ .002 worth even though I have not done a side by side comparison, I just feel the 21A stood out more.

Plus the Amer.Bit. has that damn cute monkey on the can!

Levitation is more of an amber ale and Bitter American is more of a low-gravity IPA. I'd say the 21A beer is less bitter and has more aroma hops, and also less malt character.
