You may get a bit too much acetic acid character for the style with this method as the buckets allow for too much oxygen ingress causing a vinegary flavor to the finished product. If you brewed a batch like this and then one in a glass carboy you would probably have a perfect ratio for blending available to you.

The roselare will ferment well if you have a fresh pack of yeast and use it in the primary. If you add it to the secondary then you still should use an airlock to minimize risk of blowing the glass out if you do get minimal active fermentation which could very well take place.
