Absolutely. The only problem might be narrowing it down to just a few events from the 700 or so we'll have to choose from!

Well, after all the discussion, polling, etc., it seems we're back to the original plan.

Meetup Round 2 starts at Pudge's in Blue Bell (http://www.pudgessteaks.com/) around 7:00-7:30 this Friday night (Jan 22nd). After some food at Pudge's, we're off to Capone's.

:nutters: are optional. Cheers.

I think we've given folks enough of a heads-up that this is happening. I hope that we get at least a few of us out for a few beers and good company. For those unable to make it this time, look for Round 3 in March.Code - maybe it's best you can't make it this time around. If you joined us, I think folks would come to expect BN celebrities at every meetup! Hope you can make it out this way again soon though.

Yeah, it's definitely worth it, even with just a few of us. In addition to Round 3 in March, I was wondering if we should start planning early for a Brewing Network Day during Philly Beer Week if we could all agree on a day and some events to gather at.

On this note...think we could convince J and the rest of the Brewcasters to be official reps of the Brewing Network? Hit events, collect interviews, audio, etc and just really make the BN known around this area?

Dude, seriously, you could ferment anything! We should try grape juice!

If a March gathering is in the works, might as well do it at the http://www.phillycraftbeerfest.com

Brewery list is looking pitiful compared to previous years. I'm going to start emailing breweries begging them to come.

That would certainly be fun, but it might be a logistical nightmare. First, we would all have to agree on first or second session, then hope that enough tickets are available and that everyone can afford it. Besides that, I volunteer there, so I'm usually busy pouring or emptying dump buckets.

As far as the brewery list goes, I think it is just Starfish Junction (the event hosts) being slow to update. I remember thinking the same thing when they had their foreign beer festival, so I didn't really consider it, and then all of a sudden they had a huge list of amazing breweries.

Yeah, that could be hard to pull off. But even if it's not the "main" March meetup, I'm sure any BNers planning to attend can make plans to get together at the Fest.

Regarding the Philly Craft Beer Fest, I wonder if we'll see fewer breweries in March because they're waiting to make the trip in June for Craft Beer Week.

Are people planning on arriving right at 7? I work in Malvern and get off of work at 5:30. I might stop in at Whole Foods to check out their new "pub" since I will have plenty of time.
