lookin' good B! i like the dolly and leash on it!
have you noticed any difference in fermentation activity or flavor profile with that shape vs. a regular carboy?

I use those along with normal carboys. I haven't noticed any differences in yeast character or anything. Here, they are easier to come by and they have a bunch of different sizes so thats why I ended up buying some. I have a small farm of them in different sizes.

I dunno what it is, but I think batches fermented in the same vessel taste better. Probably just a mind thing though

Any horror stories about this bad boys breaking? Or are they relatively sturdy?

Also, when I rack to the keg, I don't use CO2, I rack with gravity, and have to lift my carboys onto a desk. I'm a young buck - so this hasn't been a problem. Are these guys able to be lifted full, with the handles though? I'm more concerned about the basket breaking than the weight.

they do feel really thin, so I'd be extra careful.
