Arrogant Bastard episode?

Sun Aug 02, 2009 4:28 pm

Do any soldiers out there recall any BN episodes where Arrogant Bastard is discussed in length? I'm looking to do a clone, but would like to know if anyone has specific tips for that brew.

Cheers!

They had Stone on back in 2006. But I think that they are pretty tight lipped about their recipes

I recall a 50 or 60 page thread on Northern Brewers forum about cloning AB. I think after many trys by a few different brewers and some side by sides they felt it was cloned. Check over there.

There is an old BYO article on a cone of one. I based my recipie on it and It was close but I couldnt call it cloned. I just might have to do it again and again.

We've already interviewed Mitch Steele for the "Can You Brew It" show but there is no way he's allowed to give us the recipe. JZ (mostly) and I came up with a first attempt that I was actually supposed to brew yesterday but got busy with some other brewery operations for tonight's shows. It's going to take several attempts so I wouldn't look for anything from us real soon.

I've made that recipe from AG and it is on the money side by side. Just cut back a bit on the crystal when Beersmith converts the extract to AG.
