Re: Seattle International Beer Festival

i was up in seattle to visit the family for the 4th, and went up to the SIB on friday around 4-5PM, and the line was like a 1/4 mile long, no joke, it went all the way down to the space needle, and it wasnt even moving

needless to say, i was not gonna spend several hours standing in the sun in line to get it, so we rolled over to Uber (which was empty as it seems everyone was at SIB) and got faced on belgian beers, and my tab was less than what it would have cost to get into SIB, all in all it was a good trade off

reminds me that if youre going to a beer festival try to get there before 3pm, otherwise you just fight crowds the whole time, im used to smaller ones down in oregon, like blooms and brews...

I heard of a lot of people that ended up giving up on the line situation. Good call on going to Uber though!
