America's Finest City

Sat Feb 21, 2009 6:30 pm

I just returned home to Los Angeles after a short weekend (Friday night and Saturday) in San Diego judging at this year's AFC. Thanks to everyone at QUAFF for organizing such a fine competition and showing all of us a great time. Good food, good company, and very well-run judging sessions. I now understand even more why Jamil always speaks so highly of you all.

I had a great time judging at the AFC as well. Everything went very smoothly and efficiently. QUAFF is a real class-act and has been for some time. Its members all seem very dedicated and enthusiastic. :bnarmy:

Julian, you're a medal whore!! Congrats dude. My Schwarzbier got a 2nd place. My other beers scored well, but did not place. See you at SCHF.

Thanks, dude. I heard awesome things around your schwartz, BTW.

Can't wait until the SCHF. I only wish the Sandy Eggo clubs would join in again. It's an amazing fest, but I miss having the SD clubs there.
