For being new to all-grain brewing as of the New Year I like our chances at AWoG...

The judges with do their thing and after the sheet is filled out, they will talk to each other on positives/negatives of the beer. They will adjust the scores if they need to. By stewarding, you will get to hear the jargon that they use and possible refine your pallet to theirs.

That actually sounds like a hellagood time. What nights and times would we be needed? I might have some babysitting issues to work out.

three judging sessions on friday (the 6th) 9am, 1pm, 5pm
two judging sessions on saturday (the 7th) 8am, 12noon
BOS judging to follow

BOS judging is very interesting to watch. Just the sight of it is mesmerizing. Each BOS judge sitting with 30-40 glasses of differently colored beer in front of them, eliminating beers that are really good but not good enough.

I was checking the Judge sign-up last night and noticed that one of the four judges that do the calibration of palate thing in Zymurgy has signed up to judge all sessions for AWOG!!!! I hope he judges my fucking beers!
