the only question i have is about the hoses, was the green one where you got your water from? if so, look into getting a potable water hose like they use for RV's. i'm glad that Tasty "Buster Hymen" McDole took care of you. :jnj

Only used the hose for the immersion chiller. Brewing water was carbon filtered tap water from the kitchen.

The damn thing is actually fermenting. I know I'll get over it after a few times, but it's pretty cool that is actually works. If it is ready to drink in 2 months it will be my Xmas present to myself.

I'll offer you this little piece of advice. In your last photo when you are filling up your carboy, put a piece of sanitized foil over the top of the carboy so no wild yeasts or other junk gets in there.

Good luck and remember to save a bottle of your first brew to keep
