It pisses me off that the audience booed when Michael said that Corona is a shitty beer. Drinking Carona is like drinking carbonated urine that was sprayed out of a skunks ass.

MJ also has a medical condition. Just thought I would provide some info.

Hey Brewcrew,

A great post and the very reason that I love our listeners...they pay attention, do research and are fair to all sides of almost any isuue!!

having read the post in response to Jackson's first interview, I am inclined to contact him and talk about his interviews in an objective sense. Even before reading his blurb listed above, I am aware of the power that a Conan can have over an interview. You don not elevate to late night talk host without being maserful at reigning in your audience regardless of the guest.

all in all...I thought it would be fun fodder to make light of jackson's appearance on the show...and still think so. But I would give that man all the time in the world to state his objective and insight on any beer topic...aon any show..any time. the diference is that our audience is focused...Conan's is not.

thanks for the post! I encourage all to read it, and will probably do a follow up on next week's show.

Prost!

I second that :D

but I did feel a bit sorry for him since he is trying to teach us about all the good beer from around the world. Hell if I had that job I would be Drunk all the time.

flufah Corona :D

Justin: We need M. Jackson on the brewing network.

Conan and mainstream media: flufah

I think MJ didn't try to hard to explain the subtle nuances of the beer presented because he knew he was speaking into a deaf ear. Maybe his real agenda was to reach out to the small per centage of people like us who do understand, through a very large medium.

We need to get Michael Jackson on a Sunday show. He's mostly billed as a writer and critic, but his opinion as an educated consumer would make for a good interview. The interaction of the chat room and live callers to question him would be cool. Bring out his true mettle, so to speak.

It pissed me off that those television dorks played him down as some drunken idiot. I don't even think he was drunk, given his medical conditions. How many people have the C.O. Jones' to speak on the radio or TV with a good buzz anyway? Well, alot here as it turns out, but we are a rare breed.
