Bakersfield has only one craft brewery in town, although Kern River Brewing is only an hour away. But we just had our 2nd anual festival and it was great. Over 30 breweries with nice selection of styles. It's still developing but hopefully in the next few years we'll have more representation from the brewers themselves and diversify the represented styles even more (belgians, sours, barrel-aged, etc).
