Anybody else attending this year's festival? This will be the first for our club and there is precious little info about what actually goes on available on the website. Anybody have and tips that they can share?

Welcome to the site-

What's the NCHF? North Carolina Homebrew Fair?

I'm unfamiliar with it.

Welcome to the BN ghenna!
NCHF is the best beer fest you will attend!
Friday evening is Hoppy Hour hosted by DOZE and one other club. Friday dinner is usually a Paxton prepared awesome meal, but this year he is with family and the resort is preparing "his" dinner.
Saturday is an all day beer fest with the best beer in Northern California. It is set up like club night of the NHC, with clubs decorating their booths and providing food. There is a booth competition, beer competition, and best food competition. Take your time and drink lots of water. Saturday night is wandering around the campsites with Tasty and listening to Andy Wood sing songs, and of course more beer. Clubs sometimes break out the precious stuff!!
Sunday morning is hangover time and go home and watch football. Then get ready for next year.
See you there!!

Thanks for the info Deathrider!

We're currently considering the food and camping situation- is it basically just everybody tosses down their tent in their allotted campground area all willy nilly? Do they have freestanding bbqs that we are able to use, or should we bring our own?

This does seem like an opportune time to get some beer out of the cellar though. I was planning on bringing some of my 21% homebrew anyways, perhaps though I'll have to dig a little deeper and see what beers I can come up with.

All times are UTC - 8 hours
