Oregon Brewer's Fest 2012

Sun Jul 29, 2012 5:58 pm

Anyone go?

Loved it. Did the Friday noon trip after getting off the boat and parking downtown at the Marina. Some decent IPA's. Have to go through my notes, but that makes me a beer nerd!

Your thoughts on the festival this year?

I apologize for this lame duck response, but I live there and I stopped going a year or so ago. I just think there are too many misses, and not enough hits, for the massive crowds you have to put up with. I'd rather go to Belmont Station, or even drive out to Gresham and hit up Brewligans (they have an NES setup in the back).

My favorite beer that I've had there was Boundary Bay's Double Dry-Hopped German Tradition Pale Ale (I think that was actually the entire name!). Mmm.. soo good.

What were the stars, this year?
