2010 ASH Oktoberfest Competition - 2011 ProAm Qualifier

Sat Sep 18, 2010 1:30 pm

Hi BN'ers,
our club, the Arizona Society of Homebrewers is throwing our annual BJCP competition this year but with a twist. We are partnering with Papago Brewing and Dogfish Head via the Beer for Brains Foundation to make this year a bit more special! As usual, our competition is open to all homebrewers but this year, medal winners qualify for a 2011 Pro-Am entry brewed with Papago Brewing in AZ or with Dogfish Head in Delaware.

All you need in order to qualify is membership in the AHA and a medal winning beer, here is the official page with all of the details you need: http://club.azhomebrewers.org/page/competitions-1

We made this a two bottle competition in order to make it easier for people to send entries. Part of the proceeds will go to the Beer for Brains Foundation to support Barrow Neurological Institute and brain cancer research.

We would love nothing more than to get overwhelmed with entries so send us some great beer!

Ben

P.S. Entries are due by Thursday October 14th
On Tap: Dark Mild (x2), Honey Hefe
Fermenting: A.Bastard Clone, Wee Heavy, S/70, Eng. Barleywine
