So here's my question guys - I posed it in this blog entry (http://www.maltosefalcons.com/blogs/dre ... ld-returns).

We're still playing around with the world of electronic score sheet returns. This year we had everything back within 24 hours. Would it put you off from a competition to not have the physical piece of paper? Why?

Check out the sample score sheet at the bottom of the page and let me know what you think.

Drew,

Couldn't download your example...but I have no issues with the .pdf's that you send out.

I don't have any data to support this but that had to be the fastest turnaround of beer competition results and scoresheets ever. I am truly impressed.

No, I absolutely don't need a physical piece of paper. I don't care how I get it....I just want to know what the beer looked, smelled, tasted like, why it received the score, and what it would take to get a higher score.

I love the PDFs.

Thanks, T-Pain!

I hesitate to mention just how much work went into getting the pdfs out, but the scanning part at least is easy. But there's a ton of double checking work going on as well so, blah!

Next year I'm writing some scripts dangit.

hey Drew, I'm not a Mayfaire entrant because I live clear across the country - but in general receiving an electronic scoresheet wouldn't bother me at all, I think I'd probably even prefer it

I've had the pleasure of receiving electronic .pdf scoresheets in a few competitions in the past, and I definitely prefer it. It seems to help everyone all around, I'd encourage this trend.
Cheers! Kippis! Skål! Prost!
