Philadelphia BN Pub/Brewery Crawl

Fri Mar 05, 2010 3:43 pm

I'm hijacking the Meetup thread and attempting to redirect it into a workable poll.

ThirdDegree had suggested Friday, March 26th as a possible Center City date, so why don't we focus on that weekend. My feeling is that if we're doing Philly, we should take the time to do it right and not just get together for a couple hours at night. Please chime in by Sunday the 21st.

Thanks,
Mike

P.S. Pick your top two and we'll go with the majority. Also, I made it so you can change your vote if anything changes.

You need a "not this weekend" button on the poll.

If you all are thinking on CC, may I suggest wait on that untilt Philly Beer Week.

You mean they haven't taken away all the beer but BMC in Philly? ( yet )

As per AtomicPunk's suggestion, I added a Different Weekend option on the poll. However, that cleared the few votes we already had, so please resubmit your preferences.

I think a bunch of us already agreed that a day during Philly Beer Week would be great, but that we'd still like a more relaxed day in the city beforehand.

DarkSide: Last I heard, they're already returning most of the beer they illegitimately confiscated. I'm hoping that this becomes such an embarrassment that they totally rethink the LCB and its antiquated regs left over from prohibition.

I'm judging in the Hudson Valley Competition the scheduled weekend. Can't miss that. Another weekend would be better.

I'm supposed to move that weekend but I could sacrifice Saturday and jam pack my Sunday. Plus if we do it Saturday we can start off drinking free beer at the Yards Brewery tour. Good guys over there. One of their brewers offered to drop a case off at my house when he found out I was having trouble finding Ales of the Revolution.

The limited response picked a different weekend as the preference.

April will be tough with Easter and NHC 1st round, but does anyone want to shoot for May, or should we concentrate on scheduling a BN day in Philly during Philly Beer Week?
