From the moment we got there we dubbed it "Bro Fest". Talking with the distributors was fun also.
Asking about Rogue's Northwestern Ale:
"So, what style is that suppose to be?"
"It's an ale"
"What kind of ale?"
"Everyone says it's really good"
*Looks at it and smells
"Is it an amber or ..."
"Well it's definately amber in color"
*walks away.
We did have some really good beer. There was a homebrew club there serving flat god awful homebrew to the longest line in the place. The Leviathon IPA from Harpoon seems promising, I'm generally not too impressed with them. We're also getting the Stone 13th Anniv. which will be an Imperial Red Ale and Magic Hat's coming down here as well.
We went to Bold City Brewery afterwards and enjoyed FULL glasses of beer.
