NHC weather

Tue Jun 16, 2009 11:00 pm

Many of you will be arriving in the Bay Area from places that actually get warm in the summer. You may be ready to prance around in your :nutters: and a T-shirt, just like at home. However, as a local, I'd advise you to pack a sweatshirt (or your Members Only jacket) and check Accuweather. It's not like you'll be spending a lot of time outside, but trust me, you'll be glad you brought it.

Mark Twain never actually said this.

The weather in Oakland for the duration of the NHC will actually be quite pleasant. It'll be mostly sunny with highs running in the 70s & 80s. But having a sweatshirt handy is never a bad idea anytime you're close to the water here.
