ACBF in Boston soon

Fri Jun 05, 2009 7:13 am

American Craft Beer Fest in Boston is only a few weeks away. I'm volunteering for all 3 shifts so I will be behind the counter serving up. Anyone else planning to go to this?

I am going to be in Vermont for my nephew's graduation. :) and

Great beer list...although I don't think 3 hours a session would be enough to get everything that I wanted.

Do volunteers get breaks ( and by breaks I mean a chance to go sample some of the beer )?

I'm sorry to hear that. If hes graduating from UVM you can hit up Magic Hat, Otter Creek, Vermont Brewpub which was fantastic... and the other places up there.

Yes, volunteers get a break for each shift (they don't say how long) so you can wander around. Plus you get in for free. Since I will be there for all of the shifts I imagine I'll have plenty of time to visit a bunch of them. But I agree that 3 hours is not enough time to see all you want since it'll prolly be really crowded too. :jnj

I was at Friday nights session and it was great. I did see on BNer around I am not sure if there were any more. The lines seemed longer than last year but still were not excessive. Also Duck Rabbit, Foothills, and Deschutes were all great. I wish I could get their beer in Boston.
Primary - IPA
