getting home after NHC

Mon May 11, 2009 8:15 am

Hey all,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have an apparent issue on Sunday Jun 21 after NHC. I have to catch a plane at SFO at 10:15 in the AM and apparently BART doesn't start running till 8:30 AM on Sundays. So if any one else needs to hit this flight or an earlier one, I would be interested in splitting a cab, finding a donkey or shuttle that leaves early, or any other feasible options so that I don't completely fuck up and miss the flight because my ass is so hungover and I didn't plan ahead....

Thanks!

You might also post this on TechTalk. You're sure to find someone.

All else fails, SuperShuttle is the way to go.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

+1, but I'd call SuperShuttle and make a reservation ASAP. You can always cancel it later if you don't need it. I believe downtown Oakland to SFO is approximately $35.

I'm in the same situation, plane leaves San Fran Intl. at 8 am, and International flights require check in 3 hours before the plane's departure. Are you at the marriot? I think there will be a bunch of us there in the same situation.

yeah, Blober, at the Marriot with no real ride to my departing flight.... and i'd rather deal with it now and plan for it, rather than when I have a raging hangover..... and very little time

Last time I showed up at the SF airport at 5:30 am, there was nobody there. The counter to check in was closed. You might check with your airline as to how early the counter opens, so you're not just waiting around for them to get there.

Anyone flying into SF Wednsday around 10-10:30 am want to share a cab? If we get 4+ people in a van cab it should be fairly cheap! :jnj

My Bad! I just looked at the bart scheduel and saw that a train leaves right from San Fran Airport and drops you off close to the Jack London Square or the Marriott and it's about an hour train ride! :jnj
