2009 SPARGE GABF Pro-Am Competition

Our homebrew club is sponsoring a competition on March 8th in Northampton Ma. Their will be a homebrew celebration from 3-5 at the Sierra Grille in Northampton,Ma. The cost of for the comp is 6 dollars and beers can be shipped to

This weekend we will be having the BOS judging at the Sierra Grille from 3-5. Free beer free food and you can watch the BOS judging.

It's nice to see some kind of event tied in with a homebrew competition like this. Most of them seem to take place in hermetically sealed chambers. Obviously the judges need their space, but it's cool that the entrants can kibitz a bit and be there to get results.

Did you guys get a lot of entries for this new competition?

He got around 50 beers which is kind of small but hopefully next year will be bigger.
Yea I hate when people dont schedule a comp where you can't see what goes on with the BOS judging at least. It makes for a much more interesting comp.
