groundhog day, brewers style.

so i was chatting with perlmnky today about beer and getting kegerators all cleaned up for spring and bbq season, and a random thought occurred to me . . . its almost groundhog day. i don't know about you, but the whole rodent seeing his shadow thing is a little tired. so here is what i propose . . .
replace the groundhog with a beer geek. replace the shadow with a kegerator. instead of the groundhog seeing his shadow or not, the beer geek peers into the kegerator. if the beer geek sees baltic porter, scottish 80/, and winter warmers, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. [everyone rejoices as they relax, stops worrying, and has a baltic porter.] if the beer geek sees bocks, maibocks, and saisons, then it will be an early spring. [everyone rejoices as they relax, stops worrying, and has a bock.]
either way, everyone gets beer, and so regardless of the weather, everyone is happy. so relax, don't worry, and have a seasonally appropriate homebrew.
