Philly Beer Week in March 2009

Fri Jan 02, 2009 7:17 am

Thought I'd add the link for this for anyone interested. It doesn't look like the full schedule is finalized, but they've got some great guests and guest breweries lined up for participation.

I'm planning on hitting a few of these events. Maybe get a BN militia meeting up and running!

If anyone will be in town for this hit me up...I will be all over the place. Living in the city its easy and I've got to try to top last years schedule. Over 354 events.
I will definitely be at Center City Brewers Pub Crawl 3/11, "Smoke em if you got em'" smoked beer fest 3/13; Philly Real Ale Invitational 3/16; Lots of the PAYG events ; possibly some dock street stuff like the bike crawl or the scavenger hunt; Maybe the tapping but the Bella Vista thing is that night as well which looks interesting too, plus Larry Bell is at St. Stephens right down the street from me at 8:30. Hard to choose. :bnarmy:

With St. Joe's University on spring break, my entire staff has abandoned me. I've been fighting for coverage and thus limiting my events. :( So I am trying to hit up events close to my store, or late in the evening. So far...

Tonight 3/7: Oakmont Pub in Havertown for Erie Brewing
3/8: Belgium Cafe: Sam Adam Chocolate and Cheese tasting with Imperial series
3/9: Gullifty's in Rosemont for Meet the Brewer Victory Brewing
3/10: Issan Newtown's Restaurant, Newtown, PA for Samuel Smith beer dinner.

Still planning a few more events. Stupid work getting in the way of my drinking. :aaron

Heading out to the Craft Beer Fest this afternoon.

After being at Fest until 11PM and then heading to the After Party, am going to attempt to get up in time to get back to Norristown for Brunch with Patrick Rue of The Bruery at 10:30 AM at Capone's.

Otherwise, will try to pick up a couple of PAYG's in the 'burbs.

Sucks about you being left holding the bag, Fetus. Sorry if you mentioned it before, but what store?

Have fun everyone and be safe!

Yeah it sucks, but I'll still make it to a few events. Just got home from the Erie Brewing event...drank my fill of Railbender and got to meet the CEO, real nice guy.

I run the City Line Ave GNC.
