Homebrew Competition

The Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus, in Columbus OH, is having a Homebrew Competition. This is a BJCP sanctioned event. Entry deadline is Jan 9, awards will be Jan 13. $5.00 entry fee.

I will be entering an Oatmeal Stout and a Ordinary Bitter. This will be my first competition.

I suppose no one else entered because there were only 25 entries total. But it was BJCP judged. Any way, I got second place out of the 25 for my Oatmeal Stout, which was closely based on Jamil's. I assume they did not judge by category, since there were so few beers, but I suppose they had to judge by style guidelines, since is was BJCP. This was my first competition so I am pretty happy about it.
