Pope = ?
ChickBoy = ?

Also curious about the guy from 4/27 show that Tasty was hinting about.

The AHA website says to check after may 9th.

I guess we will know for sure then. I have to say, I was very surprised that none of Doc's 15 beers made it. Not even one.

I have to admit, I am starting to question the process. I know that they mean well and are looking for the best beer, however I am starting to feel that the competition has a certain incertitude.

Oh well,

Did the guys talk about their entries on the last Sunday show?

I'm scratching my head too, Bump. I sent a beer that had medaled in two separate 300+ entry comps since Feb and it got a 28 at NHC. I sent another that was BoS in a 350 entry comp and it got a 26 at NHC. These are from the same batch, bottled at the same time, and stored cold until they get shipped off.

I wonder if shipping can possibly be *that* brutal. Maybe they were served really really freaking cold or something. I think I'll pull the sheets out tonight and email a judge or two and see if there was anything unusual about the judging environment.

I've done some judging, so I understand there are foibles, but daaaaang!
What's on tap: Cream Ale, Imperial Blonde
Secondary: British Amber,
Primary: APA
