tonight has a Deschutes tasting at Toronado and there's the release party for Firestone Walker 13 at City Beer Store that also has a vertical of 10, 11, 12 the new 13 available and it's fried chicken night at Magnolia featuring duck fat fries w/bearnaise sauce and braised chard. choices to make I'd say.

I live in the east bay, work in the city, but it always seems like I'm hearing about all this cool shit after the fact. Is there a bay area beer blog or newsletter I can subscribe to? Where do you guys find out about all the happenings?

the SF Brewers Guild retweets anything brewery related: @sfbrewersguild and @toronado posts on Twitter as well. be sure to watch the calendar on toronado.com. City Beer Store has a weekly email newsletter announcing bottles and events.
