So do I have the current record of closing toronado SF on a thursday and then closing the toronado SD the very next night?

If you closed the SF Toronado and stayed after midnight Thursday and then flew south Friday and closed that nite that might be also the same day.

Foster was generous enough to take me from the 21A to Toronado pre-BN4 and drink with me until 2 or 3am (I came back once asking him for additional help to find the bus stop - was a little hammered and he waited until I got on the right bus). And the night before Baloo and I met other BN'ers at the 21A and then watched a Giants/Angels (Sean O'Sullivan was pitching for the Angles that nite) game and we got to dance on the jumbotron. I missed the BN4 bus trip in Oakland the following day by 45 minutes (one or two BART trains too late) but had a great time the night before and was refreshed for BN4. If you were on the BN4 bus with two extra seats (or got them) you have me to thank.

I took my wife to the Toronado a little over a week later and she pointed out the general area she got her tattoo on Haight in the early 70's several blocks west of the Toronado.

no worries on the ride. we're planning the bus routes which seems to be as good as any way of getting there. plus it has the added local charm and flair for the adventure.

How was the trip? It sounded like a great idea for a fun adventure. I wanted to meet for a beer but had to work, I got to SD T at around 5 pm. Any SD BNers make an appearance? Cheers!
