2009 was my first conference, and I stayed in a room about 6 blocks away from the convention center. In retrospect, I should have stayed at the convention center - it would have been nice to have a place to go crash between lectures. And I wouldn't have had to bring shoes.

I've never been to Minneapolis, but there's so much going on during the conference that I don't really feel the need to explore. Between pro and club nights, the banquet, and any BN related activity, there will be more than enough to do. Then again, I'm going solo this time, so I don't need to consider any ball and chain...

Chris: I just booked and paid for a room at the Days Inn. It's listed at 0.12 mile from the Sheraton and for a FRACTION of the cost. Unless you're dead set on staying at the Sheraton, You're welcome to split mine. I have a 2 queen bed room.
