The first set started off a little slow but then got really going. A different experience for sure being my first show bringing my almost 2 year old daughter, but still a great time. The lot scene was pretty bunk as there was a HEAVY police presence. I saw about 4 groups of people being arrested before the show. Still recovering today but worth it as always. BTW we made it thru almost all of the corny of Piper that I had made for the show. I did feel a little shady with the corny regulator and CO2 tank sitting in the back of my Honda Element pouring beers from it. "Really officer its CO2 I promise" was something I did not want to have to say. It was great.

The time is near the mission clear,
Its later than you think, before you slip
into the night you'll want something to drink.

anybody going to the ashville or knoxville shows? I just flew in to 'visit the girlfiend's family', we're takin off on tour tomorrow so make a post quick if you'll be there, we can drink a beer in the lot so long as the pavement hasn't started melting yet... In which case we can have 9 beers

on a side note, last time i visited 'the south' three years ago (i'm in memphis) there was no local beer at all, now there's all sorts of stuff, nothing worth packing home but some really decent alternatives to macro schwill. I tried the Ghost River beers (boscos's?), Schlafly, and Yazoo... I found that everybody leans toward the English styles which is cool, but Yazoo is definitely the best that I've sampled, you can actually taste the amarillo in their pale which I'm assuming has got to be quite a novelty along this latitude and region
